Anti-spill and drum retention bucket:

We advise you in choosing the right bucket!

The questions you should ask yourself in order to know which cube is ideal for your case are the following:

    • For what substance will you use the spill containment?
    • What function will the spill containment have?
    • What size should the spill containment be?

  • For what substance will you use the bucket?

The substance stored is the one that determines the material of the bucket, it can be made of steel or plastic. For flammable and polluting substances, such as oils or paints, steel tanks are necessary.

For aggressive chemicals, acids and bases, polyethylene (plastic) or steel retention basins should be used depending on the degree of aggressiveness of these substances, we almost always recommend polyethylene because the cost is much lower compared to stainless steel basins. Polyethylene and steel retention basins are corrosion resistant and therefore necessary to contain aggressive liquids.

Plastic buckets (polyethylene)

The polyethylene bucket is perfect for storing acids, bases, alkaline substances, oils or any corrosive or aggressive chemical product. A retention bucket ensures the protection and safety necessary for the storage of hazardous substances.

What function will the spill containment have?

What size should the spill containment be?

According to current regulations, the buckets must contain the volume of the largest container placed on top or at least 10% of the total number of containers.

The Retention capacity of the bucket must be equal to or greater than:

Total volume of the largest container.

10% of the total liquids stored.

You should always choose the most restrictive option, here are 2 examples:
