Dispose of oil-soaked rags and cloths and avoid fires caused by isolated sparks or spontaneous combustion.
Rags and cloths impregnated with solvents, thinners, linseed oil, combustible adhesives and other flammable liquids carry a serious fire hazard when improperly disposed of.
The lid opens to a maximum of 60 degrees and remains closed when not in use, isolating the contents from fire sources and limiting oxygen to virtually eliminate any risk of spontaneous combustion..
The round construction and raised bottom allow air circulation around the drum to disperse heat and reduce accumulated moisture and rust. Durable steel construction is powder coated for chemical resistance.
