Safety drum funnel keeps the job site clean, safe and complies with environmental, health and safety regulations. The funnel meets U.S. EPA and OSHA standards and is FM approved.
A wide-mouth funnel is a must for transferring liquids into the relatively small 51 mm bung of the 110 or 200 liter drums. Rugged 1 mm galvanized steel with electrostatically applied epoxy powder coating provides durability and chemical resistance.
The funnel can be fitted with a latch (not included) to prevent unauthorized use. Designed for use with flammable materials, this funnel includes a bronze flame arrester that absorbs and dissipates heat to prevent any external ignition source (e.g., sparks from power tools, static electricity or cigarettes) from reaching the flammable contents of the drum. The self-closing lid includes a fuse-link that melts at 74°C. The lid then closes automatically in case of fire to extinguish the flames.
