Big Bag; the most practical packaging.
Big bags, or FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) are waste containers used to store and transport both bulk products and waste for management and disposal. They are flexible containers in the shape of a large square bag, hence the name “big-bag”, and stand out mainly for their strength, as they support a lot of weight and are a very simple and practical type of packaging.
In addition, most big bags have a total top opening, through which the contents to be transported are introduced, and they usually have handles or straps for easy transport.
The big bag has a long history in the world of dangerous goods handling. It began to be used in the 1940s mainly for the rubber industry and, in the 1960s, it was also used in other sectors such as the oil and chemical industries.
Since then, the design has continued to evolve into the practical and safe product it is today: a container that facilitates production and handling capacity and is widely used in different types of industries.
