Description
Absorbent pillows eco line for hydrocarbons and oils and repel water.
Absorption capacity: Each pillow absorbs 7.7 l. of oil.
Absorbent cushions for the treatment of leaks and spills. Absorb oils and organic solvents without absorbing water.
Float in water immediately after being totally saturated.
When treating severe spills, they should be used in combination with absorbent booms to minimize the dispersion of contaminants. The large surface area of this type of pad makes it the ideal product for rapid absorption of spills.
spills.
Each absorbent cushion absorbs 7.7 l. of oil, reducing costs in absorbents and waste treatment.
ECO products are resistant to almost all chemical compounds.
ECO pads should not be used to absorb basic solutions, especially those with a pH greater than 13, or in oxidizing environments.
oxidizing environments. They can also be incinerated.
Composition of the Ecological line pillows:
Filling: Organic vegetable absorbent (96.1% of the total weight of the product).
Outer layer: Polypropylene with antistatic treatment and UV protection.
The Eco line is designed to minimize the risks associated with static electricity (uses organic vegetable absorbent + polypropylene layer with antistatic treatment). Ideal for use in ATEX zones. In addition, they are resistant to UV radiation.
Tested by two of the most demanding and internationally recognized standards for oil spill absorption:
Application method:
To absorb the spilled liquid once confined. In drippings caused by breakdowns in machines, engines… To recover oily residues on the water surface in the sea, rivers, lakes or aquifers in general. Also of application in treatment plants, oil separators or tanks.
ECO products are resistant to almost all chemical compounds:
They should not be used to absorb basic solutions, especially those with a pH greater than 13, or in oxidizing environments.
Disposal/Precautions:
It must be disposed of in compliance with applicable legislation at all times. Please note that the nature of the absorbed liquid affects the properties of the absorbent material used.
