Description

Absorbent filters eco line for hydrocarbons and oils and repel water.

Absorbent filters designed for tanks, wells, sewers and tanks with difficult access.

Non-toxic and 100% natural absorbent plugs, to be placed in openings or sewers, etc., to prevent further spread of the spill through leakage pathways that may pose a potential contamination hazard to the environment.  When dealing with severe spills, they should be used in combination with

• Absorbent tubulars ECO to limit the stain so that it does not spread further.
• Sbsorbent ECO pillows to absorb the bulk of the stain.
• ECO absorbent booms to contain the stain, the same as the tubular absorbent pads, only in case of a larger amount of spilled liquid.

Absorbent plugs to prevent dispersion of spills in aquatic media.

They absorb oils and organic solvents without absorbing water. They use the organic vegetable absorbent as an absorbent. The organic vegetable absorbent is a 100% natural product: it is an ecological (natural and renewable) and sustainable product.

Application:

Absorb oils, hydrocarbons, fuels, solvents and cleaning agents without absorbing water. Float in water immediately after being fully saturated. Filters designed to minimize the risks associated with static electricity. Ideal for use in environments with flammable liquids and gases.

ECO products are resistant to almost all chemical compounds.
ECO filters should not be used to absorb basic solutions, especially those with a pH greater than 13, or in oxidizing environments.

Composition of the sealing filters Ecologic line:

Filling: Organic vegetable absorbent.

Outer layer: Polypropylene with antistatic treatment and UV protection.

The Eco line is designed to minimize the risks associated with static electricity (using organic vegetable absorbent + polypropylene layer with antistatic treatment). Ideal for use in ATEX zones. Application method:

To enclose, placing the booms around the spilled oil stain. To recover oily residues on the water surface in the sea, rivers, lakes or aquifers in general. Also of application in treatment plants, oil separators or tanks.

Ideal for limiting large spills, to prevent the spread of the spilled substance. Also used as booms in large hydrocarbon spills on the water surface.

Disposal/Precautions:
It must be disposed of in compliance with applicable legislation at all times. Please note that the nature of the absorbed liquid affects the properties of the absorbent material used.
