These skimmers use the surface current caused by the suction of a pump connected to the skimmer to direct the oil inside skimmer. This principle favours the fast recovery of large quantities of oil.

TYPE 1. Ideal for thin films of oil, large spills in the open sea and in ports. They can also be used in industrial areas.
TYPE 2. Ideal in tanks where access is difficult and in wells. They can be introduced via the manhole.
